How to Wax a Snowboard
From your Snowboarding Guide

Snowboards require a fresh coat of wax about every five days on the mountain. Waxing it yourself will save you time and money.

Difficulty Level: Average    Time Required: 30 minutes

Here's How:
  1. Lay your board flat on a table so the base (the bottom) is facing upwards.
  2. Clean the base with a damp cloth.
  3. Take a warm iron (not hot) and rub snowboard wax on warm part of the iron so the wax drips onto the base.
  4. Drip enough wax to liberally cover the base of the board.
  5. Let the wax dry.
  6. Take a solid piece of plastic and scrape the excess wax off the base. Scrape from the nose of the board to the back.
  7. Go riding.

Tips:

  1. If you have gouges taken out of the base take your board to a shop to have the p-tex repaired professionally
  2. Use an old iron.
