Mount Snow Description:

Located in West Dover, Vermont, Mount Snow offers 107 trails, 19 lifts, a 460 foot long halfpipe, several terrain parks, a tubing park and a well-developed base area. With 80% of their terrain covered by snowmaking, Mount Snow is consistently one of the first resorts to open in the east. The mountain features terrain for all abilities, with 14% of the trails designated for beginners, 73% for intermediates, and 13% for advanced/expert skiers and riders.

Mount Snow is located in southern Vermont in the town of West Dover. It is approximately 2.75 hours from New Haven, CT; 2.5 hours from Boston, and 4 hours from New York City. The nearest major airport is Bradley International Airport, located 1.5 hours away in Albany, NY. In addition, train service is available via The Amtrak Vermonter to Brattleboro, Vermont, and the new Ethan Allen Express to Rensselaer/Albany.

Alternative Activities:

Snow Tubing is offered weekends and holidays at the Carinthia Base Area. Other activities in the area include snowmobile tours, snowshoeing, horse-drawn sleigh rides and cross-country skiing.
