Definition: A boardslide is a snowboard trick in which the rider slides on a rail or obstacle with his board perpendicular to, and centered on, the object. A boardslide can be performed frontside, with the rider’s back facing downhill, or backside, with the rider’s chest facing downhill as he slides.
