Definition: Heliboarding (or heli-snowboarding or heli-riding) is a form of off-piste snowboarding in which the rider is carried to the top of a slope in a helicopter. Heliboarding can take place on anything from intermediate to advanced terrain, and the helicopter serves as a convenient way to reach untouched backcountry areas that may never be able to be reached otherwise.
