The Original Snowboard Prodigy Grows Up:
Today the man many refer to as the "original snowboarding prodigy" stays busy running his skate and snowboard shop, Podium in Manchester, VT, and continuing the work of his charitable foundation (The Ross Powers Foundation); Powers is also the Snowboard Ambassador at link url=http://www.okemo.com]Okemo Mountain Resort, and he continues to compete, albeit with a focus on boarder-cross racing. The consummate "local boy done good" still lives in Vermont, where he and his wife are raising their two daughters.
