Gretchen Bleiler was born in Toledo, Ohio, on April 10, 1981. She is one of the most decorated female halfpipe riders in the history of snowboarding, with four Winter X-Games Gold medals to her name, as well as a Winter X-Games Silver medal, and an Olympic Silver medal from the 2006 Games in Torino, Italy.
