About Eric Willett:

Born, raised, and residing in Breckenridge, Colo., snowboarding should be Eric Willett’s middle name. Although he started competing in 1994 (when he was just six years old), Willett made his professional debut after graduating high school in 2006.

After graduating, Willett took home some serious titles. In 2010 he was on the podium in his first X Games with a silver medal around his neck and his career skyrocketed from there. He took home two big air wins and two second place finishes on the World Snowboard Tour in 2013, which solidified his spot as a competitor in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

Eric Willett Career Highlights:

Willett’s 2010 X Games debut and silver medal in slopestyle strengthened his position among the pros. After that, he took home the gold and stood on the podium in multiple X Games competitions. He took home first in the BGV Russian Grand Prix big air competition and the Billabong Air and Style competition in 2013. His standing as 6th in the World Snowboard Tour Rankings for slopestyle in 2013 led him to begin training for the first-ever slopestyle competition in the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Eric Willett Off the Mountain:

Even when Eric was six years old, the place you’d most likely find Eric was at Breckenridge, but he does have a life off the mountain too. He likes to sleep in, ride his mountain bike, hang out with his friends, skateboard, and play video games.

Willett still looks up to some of the most stylish riders in the business like Travis Rice, Andreas Wiig and Travis Parker.
