Determine Your Stance Width

Snowboard stance width

Stance width refers to the distance between your feet on the board. It is generally equal to the width of your shoulders. Another way of determining stance width is to jump into the air from a standing position and land in a balanced, athletic crouch. Measure the distance between your feet at this point, and use that as your stance width.

The table below can also be used to determine your stance width.
