Determine Your "Footedness"

Snowboarders are classified as either "goofy" (right-foot forward) or "regular" (left-foot forward). Determining which foot you'll prefer to have in front can be done in one of several ways. Skateboarders and surfers may already know, as these sports are similar to snowboarding. If you've never been on a board of any type, try sliding across a patch of
ice in a parking lot, or gliding across the kitchen floor in your socks. Whichever foot your
body naturally slides forward with is going to be the foot you want in front on your snowboard.
