Question: Frequently Asked Questions about Learning to Snowboard
Is learning to snowboard really hard?
Answer: The short answer is no. It's true that learning to snowboard is more difficult than learning to ski, at least initially, the simple reason being that it's easier to balance when you can move your feet independently (i.e., on skis) versus having both feet locked onto one board. But after a day - two days at most - of snowboarding, most people progress much faster than their skiing counterparts.
