About Hannah Teter:

Hannah Teter is a professional snowboarder and the 2006 Olympic Halfpipe Gold medalist. She also holds several Winter X-Games titles and other awards. She currently rides for Burton Snowboards, and is expected to defend her Olympic title at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia (the ski and snowboard events will be held at Whistler Blackcomb).

Teter is a three-time X-Games medalist, with a Gold, Silver and Bronze in the halfpipe.

two-time Vans Triple Crown halfpipe champion; 2005 U.S. Open halfpipe bronze medalist; two-time Winter Gravity Games halfpipe champion.

Hannah Teter was also the first female snowboarder to ever land a 900 in competition. Additionally, Teter was featured in the 2005 snowboarding documentary First Descent alongside Shaun White and snowboarding legend Terje Håkonsen.

Hannah Teter's Charitable Works:

Hanah Teter is well known for her charitable works, including Hannah's Gold, a charity which sells Vermont Maple Syrup. All proceeds from Hannah's Gold go towards helping Africans, from AIDS victims to clean water projects.
