The Winter Dew Tour Overview:
The Winter Dew Tour is a multi-stop, season-long competition for professional skiers and snowboarders. Events include men's and women's slopestyle and halfpipe competitions. The 2008 inaugural season saw the Dew Tour make stops at Breckenridge Ski Resort in Colorado, Mount Snow in Vermont, and Northstar-at-Tahoe in California
Future Dew Tour Host Resorts:
In July of 2009, it was announced that both Breckenridge Ski Resort and Mount Snow will continue to host the Winter Dew Tour, with Utah's Snowbasin Resort revealed as the third resort (second stop) for 2009-2010. The 09-10 Dew Tour will begin in Breckenridge from December 18th-20th, stop at Snowbasin from January 15th-17th, and finish at Mount Snow from February 5th-7th.
The total purse for the event is $1.5 million dollars, and the event will be carried live in the U.S. on NBC, with international simulcasts taking place on Eurosport, The Extreme Channel, and Fox Sports Australia.
