DERF 561 Designs

DERF 561 Designs is a small skate and snowboard company started in memory of Hunter Green. After Hunter passed away earlier this year, his older brother Brad and some friends decided to keep his memory alive by starting DERF 561 Designs. The company currently sells t-shirts, posters, stickers, and skateboard decks, all adorned with designs and drawings Hunter left behind. All sales proceeds will go to sponsor local skaters and snowboarders.

The company's name is derived from an inside joke amongst Hunter and friends. "Derf" is a word Hunter and friends would use when someone did something stupid, while the 561 represents the area code for West Palm Beach, where Hunter grew up. In addition to selling merchandise online, the company plans to hold a skate-a-thon to raise additional funds for local athletes. According to Brad, he hopes to make it an annual event.
