How to Avoid Toe Drag

If you're a snowboarder with big feet and are facing the dreaded toe drag (when your toes hang too far over the edge of your snowboard and catch in the snow) there are three things you can do:
  • Look for a wide snowboard. Many manufacturers make wide snowboards specifically for those with big feet.
  • Angle your bindings a little more so your foot has a longer span across the snowboard.
  • Buy "risers". Risers mount under your bindings to give your feet more clearance between your toes and the snow.
