Winter X-Games 2011 Dates Announced

ESPN has announced the dates of the 2011 Winter X-Games, which will be held from January 27^th-30^th,2011 in Aspen, Colorado. This marks the 10^th consecutive year that the games will be held in Aspen. The Winter X-Games are arguably the premiere winter action sports event in the industry - according to ESPN, over 200 athletes are expected to compete in the 2011 games.

After a successful launch, the network will also be putting on the Winter X Europe event again, which will be held March 16^th-18^th, 2011, once again in Tignes, France. While the U.S.  based Winter X event features skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling, the European event features only skiing and snowboarding.
