Breckenridge Local Jesse Csincsak Accepts Final Rose on ABC's "Bachelorette"
Jesse Csincsak, a professional snowboarder that calls Breckenridge, Colorado home, has decided to pursue gold wedding rings instead of gold medals on the slopes for the time being. A finalist on ABC's morally suspect show "The Bachelorette," the 26 year-old Csincsak accepted the final rose from DeAnna Pappas on Monday night's two-hour finale, beating out 31 year-old account executive Jason Mesnick.
Neither Csincsak nor Pappas are strangers to the world of reality television. Cscincsak appeared in an episode of MTV's "Made" back in February, attempting to take a 15 year-old never-ever snowboarder to competition level in just six weeks (16 days on snow). Pappas, his new fiancé, was a former castoff on ABC's "The Bachelor."
Along with competing in events like the Chevy Grand Prix, the U.S. Open, and the Gravity Games, Csincsak is a certified snowboard instructor at Breckenridge Ski Resort in Breckenridge, Colo. He is sponsored by Unity Snowboards, Purl Wax, Shady LTD, Vitamin Water, Screamer Hats and Zero Gloves. Csincsak also founded and runs JSAK Snowboarding, a non-profit organization that helps snowboarders with Olympic aspirations raise money for training, travel and related expenses.
It's interesting to note this is Colorado's second Bachelor/Bachelorette connection. In 2003, "The Bachelorette" saw Trista Rehn (another "Bachelor" castoff) choose Summit County firefighter Ryan Sutter to be her hubby. They currently live in Vail, and as of this writing, the two are still together - a rarity in the world of reality dating shows.
